Europe’s most-attended conference by association leaders and executives, the Associations World Congress, took place in Florence, Italy, from July 9–11, 2023.
The event consisted of 40 case studies presented by associations. Moreover, 100 additional case studies were shared at the event and online afterward. This highly valued event by delegates was also comprised of in-depth half-day sessions in three streams: association strategy, conference and event strategy, and executive skills.
The event was a platform fostering interaction, discussion, and sharing: room and table discussions, group & individual exercises, and Q&As. Delegates worked together to innovate ideas, create value, and gain practical solutions.
The event enlightened individuals with strategic advice for secure career progression and best-in-breed suppliers to support their organization and events. Leading experts took sessions on critical challenges to association, outsourcing, and sourcing for greater growth and skills for team building.
Instead of an exhibition, the event was organized to meet with strategic suppliers with a minimum of eight appointments, 15 minutes each, for the two days. It also allowed people to select the suppliers they wanted to meet, with 2/3 destinations or venues for events and 4/5 others.
