Tbilisi hosted the 57th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), welcoming over 3,000 attendees, including ADB Governors, financial leaders, and the media.
The event featured 85 seminars across 13 venues along the Mtkvari River. Participants discussed the ADB’s commitment to sustainable reforms and global challenges. Georgia’s Finance Minister, Lasha Khutsishvili, chaired the Governors’ Business Session, where delegates urged ADB to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness, aiming to invest $100 billion in climate finance by 2030. They also discussed removing outdated lending limits.
Alongside the main events, civil society and private sector sessions addressed social and environmental issues, accountability, and innovative solutions for sustainable growth.
