by Events_India

The seventh edition of the Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) is set to take place from January 11 to 14, 2024, on the beaches of Kozhikode, making it Asia’s Largest Literature Festival. The event, organized by DC Kizhakemuri Foundation and co-promoted by DC Books, is expected to host Nobel laureates, Booker Prize winners, literary luminaries, media personalities, and celebrities.

KLF 2024 will unfold across six venues on the Kozhikode beach, with over 400 international speakers, inaugurated by Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, the Chief Minister of Kerala. Kozhikode has been designated the “City of Literature” by the Unesco Creative Cities Network, the first of its kind in India.

The festival will celebrate literature and culture, featuring Turkey as the guest country of honor, along with the UK, Wales, Spain, Japan, USA, Malaysia, and France. The lineup includes prominent speakers such as Arundhati Roy, Mallika Sarabhai, Shashi Tharoor, Piyush Pandey, and William Dalrymple, covering diverse topics including science, technology, history, politics, and more. The festival will also showcase concerts by TM Krishna and Vikku Vinayakram.
