The Africa Associations Summit 5 (AAS5) started on 25th February, 2024 and will also continue today, i.e, 26th of February. The event is convened in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE) is convening leaders and experts to deliberate on intra-Africa trade within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The summit aims to gather professionals from various sectors to discuss their roles in trade negotiations and explore opportunities for collaboration. Participants will identify focus areas for associations, establish sectoral reference groups, and adopt a 5-year socio-economic transformation agenda.
