The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) has announced that its 63rd Congress will take place in Abu Dhabi from 20-23 October 2024 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). ICCA CEO, Senthil Gopinath, highlighted the UAE’s exceptional facilities and strong commitment to hosting global events as key factors in Abu Dhabi securing the bid.
The Congress will align with Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2030, which emphasizes sustainability, education, and career growth, particularly for young professionals entering the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry.
HE Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General of Tourism at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in positioning the city as a thriving hub for business and innovation. Abu Dhabi offers a diverse range of venues, hotels, and cultural experiences, making it a prime destination for international events and business tourism.
