Founded in 1990, the Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutions (APAARI) is a membership-based, apolitical organization that unites regional, national, and global stakeholders to enhance agri-food systems across Asia and the Pacific.
APAARI supports sustainable agricultural development by facilitating knowledge exchange, capacity building, and innovation through coordinated action. Operating at two levels, APAARI’s Secretariat provides organizational coordination and resource development, while its Community fosters collaboration among members to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The association’s efforts focus on delivering impactful results via grants and projects across thematic areas, strengthening agricultural research and innovation systems. Under its Vision 2030, APAARI seeks a future aligned with the UN SDGs, aiming for resilient and sustainable agricultural growth across the region.
