The IAA Council governs the association, ensuring alignment with its Vision and Mission through strategic objectives. The Council’s responsibilities include approving strategic directions and actions for International Standards of Actuarial Practice (ISAPs), amending statutes and internal regulations, managing membership processes, establishing sections and funds, electing officers, and determining policies for external relations, asset management, and investment. It also approves budgets, and audited accounts, and appoints auditors, maintaining transparency and accountability.
