BMA House, a historic conference and events venue in London has launched a Detailed Access Guide in partnership with AccessAble, the UK’s leading provider of disabled access information. This guide underscores BMA House’s commitment to inclusivity by providing comprehensive accessibility information, verified by AccessAble’s trained surveyors.
It details facilities like parking, assistive listening technologies, and accessible toilets, ensuring all guests can fully participate in events. The guide also highlights BMA House’s suitability for individuals with sight loss, as evidenced by its use by Guide Dogs for The Blind.
Venue manager Kat Winfield emphasized the importance of inclusivity, acknowledging the challenges of adapting a Grade II listed building but expressing pride in meeting AccessAble’s high standards. Anna Nelson, Chief Executive of AccessAble, praised the collaboration, noting that the guide aligns with their mission to empower people through reliable access information.
