The Busan Tourism Organization (BTO) has successfully secured the hosting rights for two major international MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events: the Asia Pacific Tourism Association (APTA) Annual Conference in 2025 and the World Statistics Congress (WSC) in 2027.
The APTA Annual Conference, a crucial academic event in tourism, will bring over 300 experts and professionals from 25 countries to Busan for discussions on international cooperation and advancements in the tourism sector.
Additionally, Busan will host the prestigious WSC 2027, a significant gathering for statistics professionals worldwide. The city’s selection highlights its growing status as a global MICE center, with the Busan Convention Bureau actively promoting the city at various international events to enhance its appeal as a MICE destination.
