The bidding for CAP 2026, the global Communicating Astronomy with the Public (CAP) Conference, has concluded. This international event fosters the exchange of best practices in astronomy communication and encourages collaboration in outreach. Key organizers include the International Astronomical Union (IAU) C2, the Office for Astronomy Outreach, the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, and the Kavli Foundation.
The IAU, a global body representing over 12,000 astronomers from more than 100 countries, is dedicated to advancing all aspects of astronomy, from research and education to communication and development, through international cooperation.
