Future Earth and the Belmont Forum are seeking applications from organizations interested in hosting the Sustainability Research and Innovation Congress (SRI) in June 2024 or 2025.
The 2024 and 2025 Congresses will have different hosts and occur in different cities, allowing both in-person attendance and virtual participation. Hosts must have experience organizing international events and provide an accessible venue for 500–1000 attendees for a 5-day event, along with facilities for interactive online participation. Hosts will play a key role in event design, inviting local sponsors, and supporting logistics.
The SRI Congress serves as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and funding in sustainability, enhancing the host’s global profile and leadership. It not only presents cutting-edge science but also emphasizes actionable solutions for sustainability.
