The Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons (IAGES) has solidified its status as one of the world’s foremost associations for minimally invasive surgery (MAS). The IAGES 21st Annual Conference and Convocation in Chennai in 2024, will focus on the theme of ‘Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in MAS’.
The digital partners include the Maldives Association of Surgeons, the Society of Endo-Laproscopic Surgeons of Bangladesh, the Society of Surgeons of Pakistan and the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons GBI.
With a dedicated panel of faculty and executive committee members, it has also planned several programs that include advanced endoscopy courses covering ERCP, Colonoscopy, and therapeutic endoscopy, aimed at equipping surgeons with specialized skills. Additionally, IAGES will establish a Postgraduate Training Forum to provide laparoscopy and endoscopy basics to surgical postgraduates in medical colleges.
