The IBTM World, scheduled for November 28th in Fira, Barcelona, is experiencing remarkable success in terms of exhibitor participation. An astounding 85 per cent of the exhibition space has already been reserved, significantly surpassing numbers from previous years. The event is attracting destinations worldwide, some making a comeback after pandemic-related hiatuses.
Notable trends include substantial growth in participation from The Americas, with Mexico, Costa Rica, and Los Angeles returning for the first time since 2019. Asian cities like Jakarta, Hong Kong, and Macao are back with increased presence, demonstrating confidence in the Greater Bay Area. The MENA region is also well-represented, with Jordan, Morocco, and Abu Dhabi expanding their stands and involvement.
Europe is not to be left out, with Antwerp, France, Paris, Barcelona, and London all showcasing their offerings. Additionally, the hotel sector will feature prominently, with major international brands like Hilton, Choice Hotels International, H10 Hotels, and Melia Hotels International participating.
