The ICLEI World Congress showcases how local and regional governments are advancing sustainable urban development worldwide. Their last World Congress began in 2021 with a Virtual Launch and ended in 2022 with The Malmö Summit.
ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network comprising more than 2,500 local and regional governments dedicated to advancing sustainable urban development.
Operating across 125+ countries, ICLEI plays a pivotal role in shaping sustainability policies and catalyzing local initiatives aimed at achieving low-emission, nature-based, equitable, resilient, and circular development in the face of rapid urbanization and global challenges.
