The IMEX Group, an organization in the events industry, established a new business unit called the “Impact Team” to enhance its positive impact on the global meetings, events, and incentive travel sectors.
The team will focus on Industry Relations, Advocacy, and Advancement, as well as the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. The building of this team aligns with IMEX’s new Vision for a thriving global events industry focused on positive change. The team will craft a comprehensive ESG framework, starting with the Net Zero Strategy to be announced in the summer.
The Impact team, led by Natasha Richards as Director of Impact and Industry Relations, will manage industry partnerships, sponsorships, and initiatives to achieve ESG goals and encourage others to do the same.
It will expand IMEX’s positive influence not only in the industry but also within the local communities. The team will consolidate various projects and charitable efforts previously led by volunteers within the business.
