Event Sustainability Live (ESL) has announced an associate partnership with Isla, a respected resource focused on sustainable events. The debut event, taking place in November at ExCeL, London, aims to provide the confidence and resources required to deliver sustainable events. isla, an independent membership organization, is committed to zero waste, 100 percent renewable energy, and carbon emission reductions.
Partnering with ESL will enable Isla to further its mission and create a platform for its sustainability initiatives. The education program at ESL will incorporate Isla’s mission, welcoming agencies, suppliers, venues, and more to engage with the content. With ESL taking place just before COP28, the event aims to inspire and drive decarbonization efforts. Adam Parry, co-founder of ESL, praises Isla’s input and highlights the importance of creating a platform for the industry to learn and collaborate on sustainable practices.
