The XXXII Centennial ISSCT Congress will be convened in Cali, Colombia in August 2025.
The event will have the following schedule:
- Pre-Congress: August 21–22, 2025
- Congress: August 24–28, 2025
- Post-Congress: August 30–31, 2025
The ISSCT Congress is the flagship event of ISSCT (International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists), concerned with the technical advancement of the cane sugar industry and its co-products. ISSCT, an association of scientists, technologists, managers, institutions and companies/corporations has been in existence for 99 years during which it has organized 31 Congresses, usually at 3-year intervals.
Some of the members of the Congress Organizing Committee (COC) include Honorary President of Congress: Alvaro Amaya– Former CEO of CENICAÑA; Congress Chairman: Nicolas Gil, Member of the Executive Committee of the ISCCT, Member of the Board of Directors, TECNICAÑA, Director of the Factory Processes Program of CENICAÑA; Congress Vice-Chairman: Johan Martínez – President of the Board of Directors of Tecnicaña, Director of Renewable Energy and New Businesses of ASOCAÑA.
