KB Kachru, Chairman Emeritus and Principal Advisor at Radisson Hotel Group have been elected as the President of the Hotel Association of India (HAI) for a two-year term. He succeeded Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL.
Rohit Khosla, Executive Vice President of IHCL, has been appointed as the Vice President concurrently. The HAI’s 27th Annual General Meeting(AGM) held in New Delhi saw the unanimous election of the management committee for a two-year tenure.
Dr. JK Mohanty was elected as Honorary Secretary, and Sanjay Sethi as Honorary Treasurer. The committee aims to lead the association until 2025. Outgoing members were appreciated for their contributions, especially Chhatwal’s role during the industry’s crisis amid COVID-19.
The AGM also included financial approvals and the election of two new executive committee members, Shashank Bhagat and Sonali Chauhan. They represent 4-star, 3-star, and heritage 1 and 2-star hotels, respectively.
