The Kenya National Association of Social Workers will host the “Harambee for Sustainable Shared Futures” conference from June 26-29, 2026, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi.
The International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW), the International Council on Social Welfare (ICSW) and the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) will gather together for the Global Social Work Conference; #SWSD2026.
The event will bring together social work students, practitioners, trainers, NGOs, government officials, and community groups worldwide to collaborate on sustainable development in social work.
Inspired by the Swahili concept of “Harambee,” meaning “all pull together,” attendees will engage in rich discussions, network, and share insights through presentations, workshops, and performances.
