The 40th Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress (APAO) will be held in New Delhi, from 3rd to 6th April 2025. This is the 3rd time this congress is held in India. It was in 1985, in New Delhi, and in 2013 in Hyderabad. This event will provide enormous opportunities to network with delegates and engage in insightful discussions. The exact venue of the event and the logistics haven’t been declared yet.
The Congress is an initiative of the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, a federation of National Ophthalmic and Regional Subspeciality societies. Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology organizes a congress to promote the science and art of ophthalmology in the Asia-Pacific region.
It currently has 25 national member societies and 11 sub-specialty member societies. Thus, it comprises 6 major regional subspecialty societies and 19 national ophthalmic societies of the Asia Pacific countries. The upcoming 2024 APAO will be held in Bali, Indonesia at Nusa Dua. It is a premier resort area in Bali with excellent business event infrastructure and 4,000+ rooms of international 4 and 5-star chain hotels.
