The Meet Global MICE Congress 2023, took place in Moscow on October 6. It drew hospitality professionals, event organizers, and industry stakeholders from 14 countries, including India, China, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
The congress positioned Moscow as an attractive destination for various business events. The event featured seminars, discussions, and workshops where experts shared insights on corporate event organization and strategies for harnessing a city’s MICE potential.
Moscow has been strengthening its status as a hub for business events, hosting over 5,000 such occasions annually, including international exhibitions, forums, congresses, and conferences.
The city saw a significant increase in business visitors, with around 3.6 million visitors in the past year. Additionally, Moscow experienced a resurgence in tourism, with a 17% year-on-year increase in summer tourists and a 10% rise in corporate visitors from the Asia-Pacific region in the first half of the year. Moscow’s evolving infrastructure has further enhanced its appeal as a global business and tourism hub.
