Flexibility remains key for future Olympic Games, emphasizing innovation in alignment with host territories. Paris 2024 serves as a test pilot, inspiring updated ISO standards and OECD guidelines for evaluating the social, economic, and environmental impact of events, with a focus on human rights and social justice.
While a Nature Sustainability study ranks the Olympic Games as marginally sustainable, Paris 2024 seeks to be a model for global events, demonstrating a commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.
