The UK Policy Forum, organized by The Business of Events, has confirmed speakers for its November 8, 2023, event.
The strong lineup now includes

- Chris Skeith, Chair of UKEVENTS, Stephanie Newton, Head of Business Tourism at Marketing Manchester,
- Laura Wilson, Head of Convention Bureau at VisitAberdeenshire,
- Rachael McGuickin, Director of Business Development, Sustainability, and Transformation at Visit Belfast,
- Ian Edwards, CEO of ICC Wales and The Celtic Collection.
The final speakers will be confirmed on 1st November. These experts will join a distinguished group of speakers at the event, including BBC Newsnight Political Editor Nicholas Watt, major event producer Martin Green CBE, and Theresa Villiers MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Events, among others.
The UK Policy Forum is an official participating event during International Trade Week, focusing on enhancing communication between the events industry and Westminster, with a key objective of developing a Policy Agenda.
Sessions will cover topics such as the export and inbound value of tradeshows, the soft power potential of events, and the importance of ambassador programs to drive innovation and change.
