The 10th Annual IPPA M5 Summit, co-hosted by IPPA and M5 country partners, took place in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 7-10, 2024, with a U.S. Pre-Summit Workshop on May 6.
The event, themed “Together Again,” focused on unity, belonging, and resilience, marking the first in-person gathering of the global IPPA community in five years. The summit aimed to rekindle old connections and forge new ones in response to an evolving world. The course offered comprehensive training on the health needs of migrant populations and the pre-migration health requirements of M5 countries, presented by esteemed faculty.
It targeted clinicians and staff involved in immigration medical examinations for migrants bound for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The summit provided updates on immigration medical examination requirements, supported best practices, and fostered a professional network for shared knowledge and resources.
