The Bulb, an award-winning sustainability consultancy, has experienced a remarkable increase in its global projects, marking its most successful year since its establishment in 2015. Over the years, The Bulb has seen a consistent doubling of its turnover annually, and this year it expects to triple, indicating a growing global focus on sustainability.
A significant achievement for the consultancy was the completion of a year-long project with the major global experiential marketing agency, Jack Morton Worldwide. The Bulb was tasked with creating the agency’s first-ever global organizational sustainability strategy, The PLANET Plan. Moreover, The Bulb played a crucial role in ensuring the sustainability of major projects in the UAE, including providing expertise for COP 28 and leading the sustainability strategy for the 52nd Union Day show, which was the first event to be ISO 20121 certified.
Selina Donald, Founder and CEO of The Bulb, expressed her excitement about the productive year and partnership with Jack Morton Worldwide. The Bulb will now collaborate with UK events agencies Sleek and TRO to develop their sustainability strategies.
Established in 2015, The Bulb has been instrumental in driving sustainable progress across the event and creative industries, including high-profile projects such as the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies, the UAE’s iconic Union Day show, and COP28. They are trusted partners to leading agencies worldwide.
