The Star Brisbane Event Centre, part of the A$3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf precinct, is now open for bookings and set to welcome guests in April 2024. Spanning 3,500 square meters, the center features Brisbane’s largest hotel ballroom, accommodating up to 2,000 guests.
Designed with flexibility in mind, it can host a variety of events, from gala dinners for 1,400 to cocktail soirées for 1,800. The pillarless ballroom boasts six-meter-high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light, and the ability to be split into five separate serviceable spaces. The Event Centre can also accommodate large tradeshows with up to 120 booths.
As Brisbane gears up for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the opening of this high-spec Event Centre is expected to enhance the region’s destination appeal for a wide range of events. The Centre will be serviced by four luxury hotels, including The Star Grand Brisbane, connected to Brisbane’s South Bank cultural precinct and the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
