The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), will host the annual meeting of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) in Muscat in November 2024.
Nasser Suleiman al Harthy, OIA’s Vice President for Operations, highlighted that the event offers a chance to promote Oman and attract foreign investments. Attended by leaders of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds, with combined wealth exceeding $8 trillion, the forum aims to build networks, showcase Oman’s natural resources and investment advantages, and enhance its global presence.
This initiative is expected to draw foreign capital, create long-term partnerships, and positively impact Oman’s economic diversification and growth.
