The video garnered 2.3 million views, increased visitor spending and stays, raised sustainability awareness by 17%, boosted regional tourism by 11%, and generated 90 international conference bids worth NZ$135 million in 2024.
The award recognizes Tourism New Zealand’s success in capturing the essence of community engagement and storytelling, elevating the business event experience. The competition included finalists Destination Canada, France Convention Bureau, and Uppsala Convention Bureau.
