It aims to bolster the tourism sector and create job opportunities for youth while celebrating rural culture and preserving heritage sites Some of the targeted properties include Chattar Manzil, Chunar Fort, and Barua Sagar Fort.
The initiative is divided into 3 categories and requires a minimum investment of Rs 180 crore. The transformation will comprise various aspects of tourism and hospitality, including wellness centers, heritage hotels, resorts, museums, and thematic parks.
Leading hotel groups like Leela Hotels, Neemrana Hotels, Taj Hotels, and others have expressed interest in the project. Notably, 41 heritage entrepreneurs have already shown enthusiasm, and the Tourism Department has researched heritage buildings in multiple states.
