Established in 1951, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering responsible travel and tourism development across the Asia Pacific region.
By uniting public and private sector members, PATA facilitates partnerships to promote sustainable growth and enhance the value of tourism. Through advocacy, research, and events, PATA supports government bodies, airlines, hospitality organizations, and educational institutions.
Additionally, PATA’s network includes grassroots initiatives such as local chapters and student chapters, which offer training programs and business development events worldwide. Thousands of travel professionals belong to the 32 local PATA Chapters and hundreds of students belong to the 28 PATA Student Chapters globally.
With its headquarters in Bangkok and representation in Beijing, PATA continues to serve as a vital platform for collaboration and innovation in the travel and tourism industry.
