The 27th East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition will be from February 7, 2024, to February 10, 2024, at the Tüyap Exhibition and Congress Center, Istanbul.
Annually, the event drew thousands of visitors from 110 countries, including 3,107 international attendees, all seeking fresh and exciting travel opportunities. EMITT serves as a crucial business platform, fostering new collaborations and ventures within both the Turkish and global travel sectors.
The exhibition boasts an impressive array of showcased products and services, ranging from accommodation and transportation to health and spa tourism, IT and software solutions, organizational services, and even national and international advertising organizations. With a comprehensive scope, EMITT caters to a broad spectrum of tourism-related interests.
In the 2022 edition, EMITT featured 461 exhibitors, comprising 367 local participants and 94 international representatives. Notably, the top 15 exhibitor countries included Kosovo, North Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Serbia, Jordan, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Moreover, the event facilitated a buyer program that welcomed 202 tour operators from 52 countries, representing diverse regions such as Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. This global presence underscores EMITT’s significance in fostering international collaboration and promoting tourism as a driver of economic growth and cultural exchange.
