The 15th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion, Safety 2024, will be held in Delhi, India from September 2 to 4, 2024. The event is hosted in partnership with WHO Collaborating Centres in India.
The 2024 theme “Emerging Challenges in Injury Prevention: transformation and resilience for a safer world”, promotes a “co-design” and “co-benefit” agenda. Thus, researchers and practitioners can look beyond injury or violence prevention to inclusive and broader actions that affect the environment. The conference will also promote the continued effort and advance the field in view of the recent developments in urbanisation, digitalization, and automation.
Tailored workshops will be introduced to include the youth at all levels of the organisation and build their capacity. International visitors would also experience India’s bustling metropolis apart from gaining knowledge from the event.
