ICCA and BestCities Global Alliance have announced exciting updates to their flagship Incredible Impacts Program, emphasizing the value of international association meetings beyond tourism. In a significant change, the program will now award a single association a grant of $20,000 (USD), departing from the previous distribution of three grants of $7,500 (USD).
The revamped selection process will involve a jury shortlisting three finalists, who will present their entries during a plenary session at the 62nd #ICCACongress in Bangkok from November 12-15. Attendees at the congress will have the opportunity to vote for the winner, with the final score being equally weighted between the jury and the audience. Additionally, the Incredible Impacts Program will offer a $5,000 (USD) seed grant to associations looking to establish new legacy programs.
The changes reflect the growing interest and engagement in the initiative, showcasing the remarkable stories and legacies created by associations worldwide. The goal is to inspire others to incorporate impactful initiatives into their future events.
