The 18th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit is scheduled in New Delhi on September 9th-10th, 2023. It marks the culmination of a year’s worth of G20 processes involving ministers, officials, and civil societies.
The summit will result in a G20 Leaders’ Declaration, solidifying the commitment of leaders to the discussed priorities from earlier ministerial and working group meetings. Notable international and regional organizations, such as the UN, IMF, WB, WHO, WTO, ILO, FSB, OECD, AU, AUDA-NEPAD, ASEAN, and now ISA, CDRI, and ADB as Guest IOs, will participate alongside G20 members and EU representation.
Comprising 19 countries and the EU, the G20 includes major economies like the US, China, Japan, and India, among others. This summit as the G20 Presidency is set to deliberate critical global issues and outline cooperative strategies.
